SWIRL, WRAP, SOFT takes the audience on a journey into a playful world full of movement and fabric. Through dancer Denis Cvetković, the piece invites audiences to rediscover textiles—by swiping, gliding, wrapping, and swirling, colorful images emerge, creating light and playful scenes.
On stage, everyday life and fantasy merge into a space where fabrics can be experienced through cozy touches, as a whirling wind, or beneath a draped fabric sky. Children are actively engaged throughout the performance, allowing them not only to watch but to become part of this imaginative world of textiles.
SWIRL, WRAP, SOFT is designed as a Relaxed Performance, adapted for sensory needs, and intentionally avoids strong triggers such as sudden light or music changes. Instead, the piece creates an open, relaxed atmosphere, specifically tailored to the needs of young audiences from 2 years old. Children are invited to experience the performance at their own pace and respond naturally. They are free to make sounds, change seats, or leave and return as needed.
The foyer area is designed as a welcoming, resting, and post-performance space, featuring dimmed lighting, carpets, and soft fabrics to create a comfortable atmosphere for arriving, relaxing, and lingering.
Special thanks to Liva Süss for consulting on the implementation of the Relaxed Performance.
